A GOOD DEAL

The Ennogie solar roof pays for itself – and then some

*) Calculations are based on a newly-built home of 160 m2, incl. a battery package, and assuming normal power consumption. The range means that the bottom line will improve if in addition to the home’s power-consuming devices, the homeowners also connect a ground-source heat pump or an air/heat pump to the installation in order to meet their needs for heating, hot water and cooling.

The figures are based on Danish circumstances. We would be pleased to make calculations/offers on specific local projects. If you are interested in an offer, please send us an email to info@ennogie.com

An investment instead of an expenditure
An Ennogie solar roof is a paradigm shift in the entire roof industry. From just buying a passive roof that is only an expenditure, it is now possible to buy an active roof which will earn money for its owner.

The roof earns money throughout its life
An Ennogie roof earns money for its owner throughout its entire lifespan. And this is quite a good deal. Over the course of 30 years, an Ennogie solar roof will earn its owner between EUR 51,000 and EUR 71,000*. After it has first paid off.

Larger disposable income
An Ennogie solar roof will raise an owner’s monthly disposable income by EUR 54 to EUR 80* from day one. As a result of the power bill savings, homeowners will have more money over for themselves from the very beginning.

“The Ennogie solar roof is a really good deal for most – and then also a good idea for our shared environment”

Michael Ariel Nielsen

A good deal
The Ennogie roof converts solar power into electric energy using solar cells and micro-inverters. The energy is consumed by the home’s power-consuming devices. If there is any excess energy, it is stored in a battery, which makes it possible to use such excess energy during the dark hours. When the power from the solar roof has already filled the battery and meets all of the home’s needs, any excess energy will be sold to the power grid.

Example:
A newly-built home with an area of 160 m2, incl. a battery package, and normal power consumption.

Degree of self-sufficiency: approx. 85%
Additional disposable income: approx. EUR 54 per month
Payback time: approx. 11 years
Overall profit: approx. EUR 51,000.

Notes on the sample calculations: The result is based on the difference between a traditional roof and an Ennogie solar roof, including a battery package, for a period of 30 years. The owner’s additional disposable income is calculated as the difference between the savings on the power bills and the expenses for interest and repayment of the additional investment. The overall profit is calculated as the total savings on power bills less the additional investment. The calculation is based on the prerequisites for normal/average production, consumption and patterns of consumption. Ennogie always recommends that financial calculations be made based on specific prerequisites.

An exceptionally good deal
If the need for heating, hot domestic water and cooling of the house is also met by electric power via a ground-source heat pump or an air/heat pump, the homeowner’s bottom line will be even better.

Example:
A newly-built home with an area of 160 m2, incl. a battery package, and normal power consumption.

Degree of self-sufficiency: approx. 70%
Additional disposable income: approx. EUR 80 per month
Payback time: approx. 9 years
Overall profit: approx. EUR 71,000.
